Ferry to Shikoku
Sorry for the lack of posting. SO busy with work! Anyway, this is from the September trip to Shikoku, an island south of here. We took a ferry boat from Hiroshima port through the inland sea over to Matsuyama City. It took about three hours on the slow ferry and it was very reasonably priced. It was way cheaper than the fast boat or taking the train. Above is the boat. Below is the boat leaving the port. Above: The top deck of the boat. Below: Another ferry boat passes by. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining, but it was very windy!! I'm trying to keep my hair out of my face. I was happy to be on holiday and we took lots of picture of ourselves out on the sea. Everyone else was inside the cabin so basically we had the whole top deck to ourselves. The views of the inland sea were breathtaking. Above: Markian trying to figure out exactly what we're passing. Below: Me trying my best not to eat my hair because it's so windy! More ferry pictures to come later! It takes forever to upload these things!
