A ninja house

The first part of the ninja museum in Iga Ueno includes a tour of an original ninja house that they had moved to the location of the museum. It has many hidden passageways in it and trap doors and such. Yes, the tour was in Japanese, but there were some English signs and seeing a wall turn into a door is pretty self explanatory. Above you see what appears to be an ordinary wall at first glance, but if you look at the picture below, low and behold it's a revolving door! They let kids try this out, and they were loving spinning around to the other side. This one little kid got stuck on the other side though. It was kinda funny.

Below you see a hidden staircase, and above there is a ninja hiding above. Ninjas are crazy sneaky and can hide about anywhere, cause they're ninjas and that makes them awesome.

Now the lady is showing you a secrect compartment where weapons may be kept. See her pink ninja outfit? They were selling these cheesy things at the gift shop, along with real ninja outfits which might I mention are dark blue. I didn't know that. Apparently they want to blend in and they use what looks like a farmhouse from the outside and wear farmers clothing. But inside the house has secret compartments and stuff. So, real ninjas wore dark blue, not black!

So yeah that's the ninja house. Pictures from inside the museum and a ninja fight coming soon.
